FOR ISSUES CONCERNING WARD 2 MARIETTA GA

Many thanks for the opportunity to serve

"I am honored to champion our community, our voice." Grif Chalfant

Our neighborhoods in Ward 2 are filled with hardworking residents, who continuously strive to maintain a robust and authentic identity of a multicultural, working class community.  Brighter days are on the horizon and I am excited to continue working as a good steward for this community.

I am committed to act on your behalf to uphold fairness, justice, equity and to improve the lives of those I represent.  I will resume an agenda focusing on eliminating waste and working on sustainable economic development, core infrastructure needs, transportation, education, affordable housing, public health and environmental protections to ensure that all our families and youth have opportunity to break into the middle class and beyond.

I want to serve all our residents concerns and maintain safe, strong and sustainable neighborhoods.  I hope to work with my fellow officials in creating long-term plans for neighborhoods that promote sustainable economic development, enduring parks and a sense of pride and identity.  In addition to taking care of our streets, sidewalks and lighting for safe travel, from driving with our cars, motorcycles, and bicycles, to walking and using wheelchairs and strollers, I will hear your cares and concerns that work towards Marietta being a better place to live.

There is a wealth of opportunity for growth potential and actionable plans and I dedicate myself to enriching the lives of our community through public service and to help make Marietta better for us all.
